Houston Texas-A group for gay & lesbian sailors and boating enthusiasts in the Galveston Bay area, who enjoy being ‘out’ on the water. We offer a safe and fun environment to meet other like minded people who enjoy sailing, pleasure boating, kayaking, windsurfing, organizing local afternoon charters on the bay, as well as, worldwide group charters, parties, social outings and opportunities to further our skills thru boating courses. |

We had 11 members/potential at the first Friday meeting this month. Tom discussed our website. There was some really good input from everyone. Also, the sign up sheets we passed around shows interest in kayaking so we'll follow up with some information. Several expressed interest in surf kayak fishing ... which could be a full day outing. Gatorback & Marlborotwist chartered the 22' Sat. and had a great sail. Baysail27actually took her boat out of the slip late afternoon for the first time in months. The sunset and full moon were beautiful and the company very enjoyable! Great weekend on the water. Please keep your ideas and thoughts coming, thanks to those who offered to possibly volunteer. |

Our YAHOO Groups, OutOnTheBay , is where our group originally formed and many members use that group mail list to communicate primarily. However, since we formed earlier this year we decided we needed a more public page for people to find out about us. Today we pull our e-mail list from the Forum/Discussion as well as the Yahoo Group to communicate about up and coming events. You may get more e-mail if you join both the Forum and the YahooGroup.
